It was a productive Busworld for Yutong, with the global electric bus manufacturer showcasing its electric buses and new EV Long-Life Tech while also taking home seven major awards.
Under the theme ‘Think Eco, Move Green’ at Brussels, Belgium, Yutong secured seven awards, receiving high recognition for its excellence in vehicle performance, safety and environmental protection.
Among them, the Yutong U15 secured the Grand Award Bus accolade ahead of Daimler’s ECITARO and EBUSCO’s 3.0, with the U15 also winning labels of excellence in safety bus, ecology bus and design bus.

The Yutong T14E took home the Grand Award Coach ahead of the Daimler SETRA S 515 HD and the Yutong IC12E, with the latter winning a label of excellence in ecology coach.
On the digital award side, Yutong’s Link+ fleet management system took home the Digital Award Gold Prize ahead of ZF’s BUS CONNECT and Bosch’s SECURE CENTRAL GATEWAY.
Outside of the awards, Yutong unveiled four battery electric bus models at Busworld, starting with the 14m ultra-luxury battery electric tourist bus the T14E. Available with 621 or 704kWh batteries and promising a range of up to 850km, the 61 seat model is the latest in Yutong’s tour offering.
The battery electric intercity IC12E coach launched globally at Busworld, featuring a new generation of high-energy-density batteries, as did the 15m high-end city U15 bus with its 850km range and passenger capacity of 90. The latter model came equipped with the Link+ fleet management system.
The event also saw the debut of the U11DD and U12 to enrich Yutong’s portfolio.
While showcasing this profile, Yutong also addressed the industry’s focus on the full lifecycle value of electric buses through the launch of EV Long-Life Tech, pioneering a durable vehicle design achieving 150-year lifespan or 1.5 million km total mileage.
