Volvo is a giant of the worldwide heavy vehicle sector, but it is heading to the upcoming National Bus and Coach Show with one clear goal, to strengthen its connections in the Australian industry and engage with a variety of professionals from across the sector.
The company will be showcasing two of its newer buses, the all-new Volvo B13R Euro 6 – which demonstrates market-leading fuel efficiency; and the Volvo BZL Electric, which for the first time in Australia, incorporates the European Volvo 7900 front and rear.
“We are so excited to connect with our industry,” Volvo Buses Australia general manager Mitch Peden told ABC.
“Operators, supply partners, industry associations – it’s such an excellent opportunity to connect with people from all around the Australian bus industry.”
The company is hoping to knuckle down and dive deep into the issues and opportunities that are specific to the Australian market.
“We’re looking forward to having some great conversations about what’s taking place in the industry right now,” Peden says.
“We’d love for attendees to enjoy the buses we are displaying. Our offering really shows our commitment to a cleaner, greener, quality assured future.
“I invite all Bus Show attendees to come and enjoy a coffee, meet the entire Volvo Buses Australia team, and have a talk about how we can truly provide sustainable solutions that are able to meet the asset life expectations of our Australian industry.”
