Inside the Grand Pavilion Volvo Buses will be displaying a new Volvo B9R with Coach Concepts school/charter body as well as a Volvo B7R and Volvo B7RLE chassis.
The Volvo B7RLE chassis will be fitted with the new EcoLife transmission from ZF.
Volvo will also have an extensive parts display with parts specialist on hand to answer any questions.
In the betting ring area Volvo and Coach Concepts will be showing a new Volvo B12B 3 axle coach.
This vehicle, recently delivered to Hopkinson’s in Sydney, is the first for Volvo in Australia with steerable tag axle and features the industry leading I-Shift transmission.
“This is one of the best coaches ever built in Australia,” says David Mead General Manager of Volvo Bus Australia.
“The quality of finish, the interior layout and design, the interface between chassis and body and the overall workmanship is second to none.”
Volvo will also be running an interactive session on Thursday morning on their stand featuring the latest news from Volvo.
This session which proved to be an enormous success at the Bus Vic show in July returns with Volvo’s technical team sharing their vast experience and knowledge with operators.
