The annual Volvo Group Australia dealer awards night has seen another group of dealerships recognised for their excellence over the past year.
The suite of awards paid tribute to both customer satisfaction and dealer excellence across Volvo’s large network of heavy vehicle dealers in Australia.
The Volvo Bus dealer of the year went to CMV Derrimut, while the overall Dealer of the Year awards went to VCV Prestons in the metro market and CMV Shepparton in the regional award.
The customer satisfaction award for Volvo went to CMV Trucks and Bus Clayton (metro) and Wagga Trucks on the regional side, while VCV Sydney won the Volvo Financial Services dealer of the year award.
Volvo Group Australia service market and retail vice president Martin Jerresand says the group doesn’t underestimate the contribution that its dealers make to the success of both Volvo and its customers.
“The delivery of a new vehicle to a customer is just the start of the relationship,” Jerresand says.
“Our job is to keep the wheels of that vehicle turning and our customers on the road.
“We have the tools and systems to keep our customers moving, but these mean nothing without having the right people in the right places to ensure our customers remain productive and on the move.
“Awards such as these recognise the professionalism and dedication of those people that make up what I believe to be the best heavy vehicle dealer network in the business.”
