With over 30 years of experience in the industrial and manufacturing sectors, te Riele brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to the role.

His career spans engineering, operational management, and commercial leadership roles at prominent companies such as Unilever, DSM, and Hunter Douglas Europe.

te Riele also has significant experience in the industrial door industry through his leadership positions at Novoferm and Reinaerdt Deuren.

“Erik’s career has been built on a strong technical foundation and over the years he has developed a reputation for driving growth, fostering innovation and building strong international teams,” a Ventura Systems statement reads.

“Erik’s extensive global experience aligns perfectly with Ventura’s mission to deliver our door systems worldwide. His dedication to excellence, coupled with a passion for collaboration, makes him an ideal leader as Ventura continues to innovate and expand.”

In his first months as CEO, te Riele has focused on immersing himself in Ventura’s operations and getting to know the team. He says customers can look forward to plenty of advancements in the coming years.

“Ventura Systems remains committed to being a reliable partner, delivering safe and dependable door systems that customers can trust,” te Riele says.

Looking ahead, Ventura Systems are prioritising innovation and sustainability to help shape the future of urban mobility.

The company’s focus includes using lighter and more sustainable materials, reducing its environmental footprint while maintaining the highest quality standards. It also aims to enhance passenger flow, communication, and overall experience, ensuring smoother and more comfortable journeys.
