Stan Biega Bus and Coach Sales is mourning the passing of its managing director Stan Biega.

Well-known and loved within the bus and coach industry, Biega brought over 47 years of experience to his role and spent decades cultivating meaningful relationships within the sector.

Biega was a qualified bus and coach motor body builder, spray painter, panel beater and diesel mechanic, his knowledge and expertise proving invaluable to the company.

Australia’s largest second-hand bus dealer, Stan Biega Bus and Coach Sales has sold over 3000 buses and coaches to over 900 customers in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji since 1991.

Its customers include many of Australia’s leading bus and coach lines, state transit authorities, charter companies, Army, NSW Police, as well as schools, mines, nursing homes, clubs and private individuals.

Throughout his years, Biega won a number of industry awards that highlighted the work he had done within the industry.

Tributes have begun appearing online, expressing gratitude and condolences to the family.

“We’d like to express our deepest condolences in regards to the passing of Stan Biega of Bus and Coach Sales,” a Bus Industry Confederation statement reads.

“Our hearts go out to his family and colleagues at this difficult time.”

For those who would like to attend, the funeral for Stan Biega will be held on Monday December 23 at 3pm at Castlebrook Memorial Park on Windsor Rd Rouse Hill, Garden Chapel. A live stream will be available on the Allan Drew Funerals web page.
