Translink has revealed a general manager within its team is set to retire later this year, with his replacement yet to be announced.
Graham Davis, the general manager of passenger transport services, has informed Translink that he will retire on September 26 this year.
A Translink spokesperson told ABC Davis has played a major role in Translink’s evolution, with a successor yet to be chosen and announced.

“We wish to acknowledge Mr Davis’ significant contribution to Translink since he joined in 2019, and recognise his contribution to Queensland’s bus industry prior to his role with Translink,” the spokesperson told ABC.
“An announcement will be made in due course on recruitment for a new general manager of passenger transport services.”
Davis has been in the Australian bus and coach industry for more than 40 years, including serving as the chair of the Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) commercial committee and also as the president for three years.
