Transdev NSW says innovations in workplace health and safety helped it win the national safety award at the BIC National Conference
Transdev NSW’s bus business has won the prestigious Safety Award at the Bus Industry Confederation’s (BIC) 2022 National Industry Awards recognising excellence in the Australian bus and coach industry.
Transdev was presented with the award at last week’s BIC National Conference in Brisbane.
The award recognises outstanding results in workplace health and safety through the implementation of a range of innovative strategies and solutions and follows Transdev NSW’s safety award win at the BusNSW Awards in October.
Transdev NSW managing director Robert Macey welcomed the award, saying it acknowledged Transdev NSW as a leader in public transport safety.
“We are very proud of this award. Through a proactive and innovative approach to health and safety, Transdev NSW has achieved incredible results, a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team and the power of collaboration,” Macey says.
