Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has completed the deployment of nearly 300 solar-powered e-paper bus stop displays across the state.
The new e-paper project will allow for clearer real-time information, improved accessibility with audio capability and a more sustainable alternative to paper timetables.
According to TMR director of digital solutions Dusty Miller, customer feedback throughout previous e-paper bus stop trials has been “fantastic”.

He says the feedback has consistently highlighted better readability, real-time accuracy and an improved travel experience.
He says the insights have helped shape the final solution designs and rollout, confirming e-paper as a solution that meets Queensland’s needs.
