TfNSW puts bus advertising to tender

TfNSW is opening up the field for its Greater Sydney service bus advertising

Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) has announced that its bus advertising contract has been put to tender.

Mumbrella says the installation and management of Greater Sydney bus asset advertising has been opened for a contract, with TfNSW planning to appoint one or more contractor to use the assets for advertising.

The new contract recipient will replace APN Outdoor, who first secured the contract in 1987 and was awarded five more years to its contract in 2017.

Mumbrella says the contract winner will have to maintain and develop the bus advertising assets on TfNSW’s behalf.

This includes developing new advertising strategies and reporting on issues relating to maintenance, development and revenue.

Last September, TfNSW also put other contracts to tender in the new Sydney Metro City and Southwest areas.

The contract ranges from the Central Coast to South West Sydney as part of the Greater Sydney region.

Mumbrella says TfNSW wants a contractor that is flexible and can adapt to the environment in which the contracted bus service providers operate in.
