Teen charged after rock smashes bus window

A teenager has been charged after allegedly smashing a bus window on the Gold Coast

A 15-year-old
boy has been charged with wilful damage after a bus
window was smashed
with a rock, injuring a passenger at Burleigh Waters
Saturday morning.

Police say
the
16-year-old female passenger was injured after
the rock smashed the side window of
the bus travelling along Reedy Creek Road at about 11.25am.

The bus driver, a 47-year-old woman, was not injured.

The 15-year-old will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
