The Tasmanian Liberals have announced that if elected, it will implement half-price metro bus fares from June 1. The half-price fares form part of the Liberals ‘2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future’.
“Our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future is all about taking action on the issues that affect Tasmanian’s most right now, including cost of living, health and housing,” Tasmania premier Jeremy Rockliff says.
“With the election now only five days away, nearly all of the policies within our 2030 Strong Plan for Tasmania’s Future have been released.
“This includes 51 separate policies with hundreds of individual initiatives.”
Among the policies it aims to implement includes half-price ferry fares. Rockliff says the Liberals 2030 Strong Plan is something that the Labor party currently doesn’t have.
“The only way to deliver the stability and certainty Tasmania needs, so that we can deliver our 2030 Strong Plan, is to vote Liberal 1-7 on Saturday,” Rockliff says.
