As one of the pioneers of Australia’s bus and coach HVAC industry, Coachair plays a crucial role in keeping Australia’s fleets on the move. At the upcoming National Bus and Coach Show, it will showcase some of the key products and spare parts it provides clients to keep them running.
Coachair will display a range of its HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning) systems designed and engineered in Australia, specifically for the Australian climate, to help keep drivers and passengers comfortable all year round.
“We strongly believe products designed with local climates and conditions in mind deliver a superior outcome, and we’re excited to share some of our units and their benefits,” Coachair general manager Anthony O’Donnell told ABC.
“As the only HVAC supplier in Australia with onshore engineering, we are confident our technology consistently outperforms in our unique local conditions.”
Coachair’s local expertise goes beyond climate, however. Their range is designed to meet the needs of every bus and coach, with service and spare parts to keep fleets operational.
“Our EX32 model is designed for a range of alternative fuel buses, including electric, hydrogen and hybrid,” O’Donnell continues. “This unit has the lowest whole-of-life cost compared to similar electric bus HVAC units on the market today.
“Our XT44 for diesel buses is one of the most reliable, durable and long-serving units on the market.
“Increased fan efficiency, reduced weight and return wind speed are just some of the advantages offered by the XT44.
“We’ll also be showcasing our lightweight construction demister units, which provide windscreen demisting and/or driver’s compartment heating, along with a selection of our spare parts range.”
