Siemens celebrates a special year at Expo

Siemens will continue remaining at the cutting edge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure, as it intends to show its offerings at next week's Expo

Technology company Siemens has constantly been at the cutting edge of electric vehicle charging infrastructure expertise. Siemens will be showcasing its Sicharge UC industrial charger for electric buses at this year’s Bus & Coach Expo, which is one of the most widely adopted chargers by bus operators across the Australian and New Zealand markets.

“Everyone is hanging out for this Expo – we’re so excited,” Siemens business development manager in electric vehicle charging infrastructure Olivia Laskowski told ABC. “It’s been a really exciting year in the bus and coach world.

“It’s been great to connect with people at multiple conferences during this year, but this Expo will be the belle of the ball.”

At its booth, Siemens will be conducting live demonstrations of its Depotfinity digital charging management solution for electric depots, alongside the Sicharge UC hardware. This electric vehicle charging infrastructure management backend is designed to help make depots safe reliable and economical while using the new wave of zero-emission charging infrastructure.

It’s a special year for Siemens in more ways than one. The company is also celebrating its 150th year operating in Australia in 2022. The Expo will coincide with the anniversary celebration, with Siemens running a competition throughout the year that visitors to the Expo can get involved in.

“We’re thrilled that the Expo overlaps with our Beyond 150 competition that we’re running throughout this year,” Laskowski says. “There’ll be an incredible prize draw for that month to enter, as well as throughout the rest of the year.

“Visitors can get details on how to enter the competition at our Siemens Expo booth.”
