StyleRide says it will have many of its new seat designs at the upcoming Bus & Coach Expo
After not being able to show many of its latest seat designs for the past few years, StyleRide Seating Systems is bringing a variety of new products to the Expo.
Instead of only showcasing its models, StyleRide general manager of sales Stephen Long says the seat manufacturer will bring a wide range of products to Sydney.
“This Expo is more about diversity for us,” Long told ABC. “We’ll display a combination of local StyleRide products as well as some of our international Lazzerini models.”
Italian company Lazzerini acquired StyleRide in 2019. At the Expo, the Lazzerini lightweight metro operation seating solutions will be on show, as will a new model from StyleRide’s Acacia Ridge-based centre.
Long says StyleRide’s new seat belted product will be released into the market after being shown at the Expo.
“It’s been very exciting to release this new seat,” Long says. “It’s fully tested after going through stringent ADR-68 testing and it’s coming through final approvals.
“At StyleRide we stand behind products and ensure we complete full compliance testing.”
With zero-emissions vehicles dominating discussions in the industry, StyleRide is bringing seats designed for electric buses to the Expo. Long says the manufacturer will show its lightweight seat that is perfectly suited to electric vehicles.

Long says the lightweight seating options StyleRide provides will target the electric vehicle market, while its new seating product is also expected to be a popular option for OEMs looking to build zero-emissions models. Alongside the latest technology, StyleRide will also show a diverse range of its seating products, including its top-end sovereign models.
In a special year for the company, Long says StyleRide is excited to showcase the best of its seating products at the Expo.
“This year is our 25th year as a business providing seating solutions to the market,” Long says. “We’re excited about that and we’re looking forward to celebrating at the Expo.”
