Daryl’s Daewoo duty

There’s a new man on the SA team looking after service back-up with Daewoo's school bus fleet

August 8, 2012

Former South Australia Department of Education and Children’s Services transport inspector Daryl Nissen has joined the Asia Motors team and will lead after sales service in Adelaide.

Nissen spent 18 years with DECS where he was responsible for the Department’s school bus fleet, and after such a long stint is known to just about everyone involved in SA’s school bus sector.

Nissen spent his first week on the job in August with Asia Motors – the distributor of Daewoo Buses – at its Sydney office for training and familiarisation with company systems and policies.

Asia Motors Director Bruce Campbell says his company welcomes Nissen to the team.

“Daryl will be based in Adelaide and is responsible for local service back up and support for the growing number of Daewoo school and charter buses operating in South Australia,” Campbell says.

“His appointment reinforces our continued commitment to offer the best possible technical back up and support to our valued operators.”
