BaCS backs Hurford

There’s a new face at Moore Stephens Technology in Sydney with the appointment of Andrew Hurford as Business Development Manager

Moore Stephens Technology Australia, the developers of the Bus and Coach System (BaCS), has appointed a new Business Development Manager, Andrew Hurford.

Hurford’s focus will be to drive the deployment of Moore Stephens’ BaCS system which has commenced roll-out at some of NSW’s largest bus operations.

Moore Stephens Technology, under the direction of Garry Childs, has spent three years and over $1 million developing the Microsoft-based package.

Key clients Veolia Transdev Australasia and ComfortDelGro Cabcharge have had a major input into the operational development of the system and its customization for the Australian market.

Hurford has just spent 13 years in the Middle East supporting a wide range of industries in technology enabled business transformational programs.

He was instrumental in the establishment of a new mass transport organization in Qatar and has recently been involved in the development of bus systems across the new Dubai metro system.
