Moore Stephens Technology Australia, the developers of the Bus and Coach System (BaCS), has appointed a new Business Development Manager, Andrew Hurford.

Hurford’s focus will be to drive the deployment of Moore Stephens’ BaCS system which has commenced roll-out at some of NSW’s largest bus operations.

Moore Stephens Technology, under the direction of Garry Childs, has spent three years and over $1 million developing the Microsoft-based package.

Key clients Veolia Transdev Australasia and ComfortDelGro Cabcharge have had a major input into the operational development of the system and its customization for the Australian market.

Hurford has just spent 13 years in the Middle East supporting a wide range of industries in technology enabled business transformational programs.

He was instrumental in the establishment of a new mass transport organization in Qatar and has recently been involved in the development of bus systems across the new Dubai metro system.
