State Transit is to trial five new SuperMetro buses for Sydney.
State Transit has gone to tender for five, separate designs, and that tender process is still ongoing.
None of them will be left hand drive, as no left hand drive models are being considered.
The buses will carry twice as many passengers again as a normal bus, and will be used initially on a route from Kingsford to Leichhardt, through the new mid city interchange.
