A feast of footy is just a bus or train ride away with ANZ Stadium’s NRL matches laying on free transport leading up to Easter
April 14, 2011
National Rugby League club members and fans have access to free public transport to and from ANZ Stadium for Telstra Premiership matches during the Easter school holidays.
The NRL, Transport NSW, ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park Authority and ANZ Stadium’s NRL home clubs have each agreed to provide integrated ticketing with public transport for selected home matches over the next fortnight.
Tickets to Telstra Premiership matches at ANZ Stadium during Rounds 6 and 7 of the Telstra Premiership will include travel on public transport to and from ANZ Stadium, including major event rail and bus services available during the Royal Easter Show period.
The matches that include integrated ticketing are this Friday’s Parramatta versus Canterbury-Bankstown match, followed by South Sydney against St George-Illawarra on Monday, April 18 and then the Bulldogs backing up to play the Rabbitohs on Saturday April 23.
“This is a great opportunity for NRL members and fans to combine the excitement of the Telstra Premiership with a family trip to the Royal Easter Show,” NRL Chief Executive David Gallop says.
“There are three enthralling matches scheduled at ANZ Stadium over the next two weeks and I encourage all NRL supporters to make the most of this special ticketing offer.”
Family passes to each of the matches start from just $40. Tickets are available through www.nrl.com/tickets or through Ticketek outlets, online at www.ticketek.com.au or by calling 132 849.
