Construction to the newly-opened Marshall Station is still underway, with the long-awaited dedicated bus loop finally opening this week.
Featuring improved shelters and seating, the loop separates local bus services and replacement V/Line coaches from the expanded car park at the station, improving pedestrian safety and connectivity for passengers.

The loop is already in use, with local McHarry’s buses and V/Line coaches making their way around the flashy project.
The addition comes as part of major upgrades underway at Marshall Station, with the new station building opened in mid-June, featuring a V/Line office, accessible toilets and a sheltered waiting area for the first time.
Work will continue on the upgraded car park and forecourt, with passengers to benefit from more than 200 new car parking spaces with improved lighting and CCTV at the end of August.
Buses and coaches will enter and exit from Marshalltown Road, with all other vehicles to use Drews Road to access the station car park.
Marshalltown Road will also be used as the main access point to the station precinct for pedestrians and cyclists, with a new walking and cycling path running parallel to the bus loop and the new forecourt.
Coaches are replacing trains between Geelong and Warrnambool for all or part of the journey until Sunday 25 August. Coaches will also replace trains from Waurn Ponds to Wyndham Vale and Southern Cross at times during this period.
