Bus transit technology group transportme has revealed that new rural and regional contactless ticketing solutions have gone live in New South Wales.
Ogdens Coaches has deployed the solution across Dubbo, Mudgee and Wellington, with all of them going live in December 2025 for Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
The contactless ticketing technology was delivered in conjunction with transportme and delivery partners.
For passengers, transportme says the solution means a more consistent and convenient experience as they have the flexibility to pay using a smartphone, smartwatch or debit/credit card.

“Bringing seamless transit technology to multiple locations at once is no small task. This rollout enables faster boarding, smoother transactions for drivers, and improved visibility for operators through real-time data and operational insights,” transportme says.
