Passengers travelling across Melbourne’s public transport network should keep an eye out for potential disruptions and changes, with bus replacements expected across various parts of the system.
Extensions across the rail tunnel beneath the Greensborough Highway will soon begin for the North East Link project, with buses replacing trains on the Hurstbridge Line between Heidelberg and Eltham until the last service Thursday March 27.

Coaches will also replace trains on the Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines for the entire journey to Southern Cross from Saturday February 22 until Wednesday March 5.
Passengers travelling on the Gippsland line between Southern Cross and East Pakenham should keep an eye out for bus replacements in the next couple of months, with coaches replacing trains on February 22 and 23, and March 1 and 2.
Buses are set to replace trams on Route 96 between Stop 125 Clarendon Street Junction and Stop 138 Luna Park from 9pm Friday February 28 to the last tram on Sunday March 2.
Those travelling on the Albury line on March 3 will also be ditching the train for coach replacements.
