After announcing back in early 2023 it won’t be selling any new products in Australia for the foreseeable future, Mercedes has just delivered its last Irizar-Mercedes 2 axle coach.
Delivered to Bestco Australia in Sydney, the Irizar/Mercedes i6 Charter spec came stacked with all the trimmings.

“This special delivery goes to Samuel from Bestco Australia in Sydney, who now joins the IRIZAR family,” an Irizar statement reads.
“A big thank you to SEGE for the incredible seats that make a lasting first impression, and to Samuel for trusting us to deliver exactly what was promised and even earlier than expected, thanks to our outstanding team at IRIZAR Pakenham.”
Mercedes says it decided to pause sales because planned future products weren’t the best fit for Australian operators.
However, the brand has continued to fulfil exisiting orders, with the final deliveries starting to filter out.
