Kinetic Pride Bus fleet expands into Central Queensland

Operator Kinetic says its pride bus fleet is continuing to expand throughout Queensland

Kinetic’s fleet of Pride Buses continues to expand, with the rainbow design now adorning a bus servicing Queensland’s resources-rich Bowen Basin region as part of the operator’s ongoing commitment to inclusion and diversity.

The bus design features the Progress Pride Flag, a symbol of LGBTQI+ community inclusion, and along with the words “You are Loved”, sends a clear message to the community that everyone should feel safe, respected and welcome.

The Pride Bus was launched in Moranbah with the local Kinetic team alongside representatives from BHP and BMA.

Kinetic EGM for Queensland Matthew Campbell says the Pride Bus is a beacon of support for the LGBTQI+ community.

“We thank BHP and BMA for helping us to launch this spectacular bus,” he says.

“Ultimately, we’re trying to build an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable to bring their true self to work.”

The Pride Bus joins others launched earlier this year at SkyBus Melbourne and Kinetic in South-East Queensland
