A well-known industry name has also joined Kinetic’s new look Queensland leadership team
Following the news last week that bus and coach operator Kinetic appointed logistics executive Marcia Shield to the new role of executive general manager of resources in Central Queensland, Kinetic has welcomed another new leader.
Industry figure Martin Hall has been announced as Kinetic’s new general manager of South-East Queensland, where he’ll oversee the company’s operations on the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Tweed Coast in partnership with the Queensland and NSW governments.
He is joined by newly appointed executive general manager of Tweed, South East and Northern Queensland, Daniel Head.
Head previously led Kinetic’s operations in NSW, Victoria and Tasmania and more recently assisted with the transition of NZ Bus into Kinetic.
Hall says he is excited to be a joining a passionate team supporting a community he’s deeply proud of and committed to.
“It is an exciting time to be joining Kinetic with significant investment occurring across our fleet and infrastructure here in South-East Queensland and across the state,” he says.
“We are focused on supporting the Queensland government to deliver on its commitment of zero-emission buses from 2025 onwards, while also driving industry-leading workplace diversity and equality including through our Women Up Front trainee bus driver program.”
Kinetic currently operates 21 battery electric buses (BEBs) in South-East Queensland from its Currumbin and Caloundra depots.
