Keolis Downer has taken home a CILTA award for its on demand services in 2022
Public transport operator Keolis Downer has been named as a winner as part of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport Australia (CILTA) annual awards for excellence 2022.
The awards, sponsored by the NTI, handed out seven recognitions to companies in the transport and freight industry.
Keolis Downer won the ‘Innovation in Passengers Movements’ award.
CILTA says the award was won for the operator’s ability to deliver more successful on demand operations than any other public transport provider in Australia.
“Through more than 800,000 passenger trips and more than seven million on road kilometres, we have learned to design and deliver services which squarely meet customer needs and drive network efficiency,” Keolis Downer says.

“We focus on building a personalised customer connection through our drivers and world-leading technology.”
Keolis Downer says its on demand trials include Keoride Northern Beaches, Mount Barker, Nairne, Littlehampton, Barossa and Newcastle Transport on demand services.
“By providing fast and reliable connections to strategic centres and interchanges with minimal walking distances, on demand services can be transferred and adapted in a variety of suitable locations across Australia,” Keolis Downer says.
