Keolis Downer Hornibrook joins record concert help

The Hornibrook Bus Lines team helped Kinetic transport concert goers to and from the biggest concert ever held at Carrara

Recently, Keolis Downer Hornibrook rose to the occasion when UK pop star Harry Styles played his one and only show in Queensland at Gold Coast’s Heritage Bank Stadium.

Hornibrook Bus Lines/ Keolis Downer network planner/ projects Matthew Browne put up a LinkedIn post congratulating the Hornibrook team on its rapid and efficient help.

“The team at Kinetic asked us if we could help shuttle concert attendees as it was expected to be the biggest concert ever held at Carrara,” Browne says.

“Although we had never done anything like this before, we decided to give it a go.

“We managed to get nine buses down for the evening and it was great to be part of such a huge event, with many other buses and operators joining in.”

Browne extended his thanks to the drivers who helped move so many people in difficult traffic conditions.

He says he was very proud to see his buses out running well outside their usual area, with everyone getting home safely.

“Praise must also go to Kinetic for managing to move 50,000 people effortlessly in and out of Carrara – a massive task done well,” Browne says.
