STYLERIDE BUS SEAT LEAN MANUFACTURING GETS GREENLIGHT

QUEENSLAND-BASED Styleride seating is to enhance its bus-seat ‘lean manufacturing’ processes, following its Italian owner’s recent visit to Styleride’s brand new premises, the company confirms.

Lazzerini’s group president and CEO Innocenzo Carbone completed a very long trip from Monsano, Italy, recently to arrive at a very wet Brisbane International Airport for his post-pandemic Styleride visit, spokespeople confirm.

Carbone was the Australian bus seat specialist’s first international visitor for more than two years due to Covid restrictions, whereupon the Styleride leadership team presented and toured the new company premises with him located at 29-41 Lysaght St, Acacia Ridge, Queensland.

Styleride managing director Garrin Angel was able to spend the week with Carbone, working closely with the greater team to finetune both near- and long-term business plans and review the detail of the relocation requirements.

It also importantly was a time to discuss the development and enhancement of Styleride ‘s manufacturing process focussing on ‘lean manufacturing’ methodology, which is now even more so attainable from taking advantage of such a significant relocation to better support its customers, says Styleride general manager sales, Stephen Long.

“Relocation of the business has been in plan since Lazzerini purchased Styleride three years ago, with a focus on presenting the right platform to enable Styleride to continue our growth in the existing market and expanding our product range into new markets,” Long explained.

NEW BEGINNINGS

In endorsing the new location and increased lean-manufacturing processes, Carbone stated: “Styleride-Lazzerini proudly delights its customers thanks to the experiences acquired in the entire world by offering its knowledge, innovations, flexibility and products.”

Before returning to Italy, Carbone was presented with a key to the new building and a Styleride polo shirt.

“On behalf of the Styleride team we thank Innocenzo and the Lazzerini team for their guidance and support and we look forward to his return visit as part of the formal opening of the new facility in the very near future,” Long said.
