The role is based in Chipping Norton, Sydney, and an attractive remuneration package will be offered to the right candidate, it states.

A candidate’s experience in the bus and coach industry will mean they will be: working with a high degree of autonomy; will be a self-starter who enjoys developing new ideas; driving outcomes; and is not shy of pushing the boundaries to grow new pipelines, it says.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable with managing priorities and deadlines. They will need highly developed skills in the Microsoft Office suite of products and their assertiveness and influencing skills will ensure success working with stakeholders in this dynamic environment, Penske explains.

As an experienced professional, candidates will be keen to take on a new challenge and be driven to set new benchmarks.

* Sell MAN bus products and services to customers in-line with budgeted targets and stock clearance priorities;

* Account manage large and prominent accounts within a defined region;

* Apply technical expertise on MAN products to agree and record bus or coach specifications with customers;

* Provision of customer service excellence to maintain and improve service levels to customers and suppliers;

* Manage the CRM system and other applicable systems to ensure accurate details recorded;

* Provide weekly and monthly sales activity reports to support achievement of agreed sales targets and customer activities;

* Educate customers on product benefits and whole-of-life value proposition; and

* Participate in relevant industry conferences and seminars such as field days, bus shows.
