AUSTRALASIAN bus industry seating specialist Styleride Seating Solutions has appointed former Irizar and King Long representative Stephen Long as its news general manager of sales, it was confirmed recently.
Long brings to the business a diverse and strong professional history originating in the textile industry, some thirty years ago, through to capital equipment sales in the transport industry with King Long Australia (HVA) and most recently Irizar Asia Pacific, the company explains.
“I am looking forward to re-establishing the Styleride profile throughout the Australian and New Zealand markets, getting back to basics and focusing our core elements being integrity, professionalism and customer focus,” Long said.
“With it being just over a year since the acquisition of Styleride by Italian-based seat manufacturer Lazzerini, the collaborative ground work focussing on the envisaged opportunities of linking the proven Australian-based manufacturing with Lazzerini’s leading approach to innovation are nearing fruition – watch this space,” he said.
A soon-to-be-released collaboration has leveraged the global reference point for innovation, design and development that Lazzerini creates in seat production for coaches, school buses, trains, ships, cars and special vehicles like ambulances.
