TWO USED COACHES are the bus highlights of an Australian Hilco online auction, which opened for bidding at 4.00pm Victorian local time today.

Staring time for bidding on the buses is from 16:00:00 AEDT on Thursday 06/02/2020 until strictly 16:30:00 AEDT on Thursday 13/02/2020, Hilco states.

It’s expected the 2007 Iveco/King Long 6126AU coach and the 1999 MAN 14.230 coach will attract plenty of interest from discerning bidders keen to add a vehicle or two to their small to medium-sized fleets, or those looking to buy them as sole individual units.

The diesel Iveco/King Long 6126AU has seating for 49 passengers, automatic transmission, toilet, drop-down LCD monitor and air-con above each seat. It has a GVM of 16,000kg. On the clock it’s done 482,234km with hours showing 10,752.

Similarly, the diesel 1999 MAN 14.230 coach has a maximum capacity of 53 passengers with air-con above each seat, a six-speed manual transmission and a GVM of 13,700kg. Kilometres displayed shows 280,139.

BIDDING STRUCTURE

Staring time for bidding on the buses is from 16:00:00 AEDT on Thursday 06/02/2020 until strictly 16:30:00 AEDT on Thursday 13/02/2020.

Bid pricing entails AUD$0-$1499 = 20 per cent + GST; AUD$1500-$6999 = 15 per cent + GST; plus AUD$7000 and above = 7.5 per cent + GST.

The buses are located in Craigieburn, Victoria, and are in used condition, organisers confirm.
