YUTONG EXPANDS IN AUSTRALIA; NEW FACTORY-BACKED DEALERSHIP

A NEW factory-backed Yutong bus dealership has opened in Victoria to, “…better service its customers in the Southern Region,” the company has announced.

According to Yutong Australia, with a growing customer base in Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia it has reconsidered the need to set up its own dealership for these areas.

The new site is located at 24 Grasslands Avenue, Craigieburn, 3064.

With the introduction of its new fully electric vehicle (EV) buses, plus its range of 9m to 12m school buses and coaches – this includes its award-winning EV E12ULF city bus and its current full Euro 5/6 diesel bus range – the new Victoria-based dealership is accredited and equipped to do all service and mechanical repairs, handle all warranty issues and spare parts distribution, the company states.

NEW APPOINTENTS

Yutong has appointed Don Imrie (pictured below) as its new Southern State regional manager, it’s announced.

Imrie will be responsible for all new and used buses sales throughout Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania, for all Yutong products, Yutong confirms.

Imrie brings more than 30 years of experience to Yutong as a bus salesperson and operator. His full understanding on what bus operators require and expect is unmeasured, says Yutong Australia.

Heading up the company’s Service and Parts division as service manager is Morry Lauricella, Yutong Australia explains.

Lauricella brings in excess of 30 years’ experience in customer service in the heavy vehicle industry and his comprehensive knowledge puts him in a position to deliver the very best service for Yutong customers, the company states.
