KANGAROO BUS LINES WINS MAJOR BUSINESS AWARD … YET AGAIN

THIRD TIME'S A CHARM for Queensland’s Kangaroo Bus Lines, which for three years running has claimed the top prize under the Tourism: Tours and Transfers category at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards gala dinner, recently.

The tourism award recognises Kangaroo Bus Lines for its outstanding teamwork, business management, innovation and focus on future growth, organisers confirm.

Darren Webster, CEO of Kangaroo Bus Lines was thrilled with the result.

“Our company culture of ‘people, pride and passion’ shapes our commitment to provide exceptional customer service and assists the development of long-lasting relationships within the community,” he said.

Kangaroo Bus Lines is well known for its innovation, continuously exploring new methodologies, investing in its people and technology to improve the delivery of first-class services, it states.

With an expanding fleet, Kangaroo Bus Lines prides itself on repeatedly exceeding customer satisfaction and meeting the transportation needs of the local community, clients, and customers through to international and domestic visitors within this great region, it explains.

TOUGH COMPETITION

Kangaroo Bus Lines was up against a strong group of six finalists, all of which were judged on their written applications and finalist panel interviews.

Sunshine Coast Business Awards chair Jennifer Swaine says this year’s winners were an impressive group of business leaders representing industries from throughout the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and the hinterland.

“It’s never easy for the judging panels and this year has again proven how strongly our region performs across a wide range of award categories,” she said.

“The quality and diversity of all of the entries across each of the awards was exceptional and truly eye-opening; proof that our region is progressive and thriving.”

MORE TO COME

Later this month, Kangaroo Bus Lines will also attend the Moreton Bay Business Awards, as a finalist in the Customer Service category.

“Our centrally located head office and main depot at Burpengary not only is servicing the entire Moreton Bay region, but is centrally located to provide excellent services to our clients and customers from Brisbane to the south, through to the Sunshine Coast, where our second depot is located at Kunda Park,” Webster commented.

“So, it’s really exciting for our team to be nominated for a customer service award.

“Providing our services efficiently and with a welcome smile is important to us; we are so proud to see the great work of our teams appreciated by the community and industry peers.”

The tourism market is extremely challenging and Kangaroo Bus Lines’ commitment to remain family owned and operated, focusing on customer and employee satisfaction, has differentiated it from other multi-national companies.
