CUSTOM BUS RELEASES 100TH BUS IN-BUILD IMAGES

CUSTOM BUS GROUP has started building its 100th bus since the business was bought out of administration and moved to the facility at St Marys, in Sydney, NSW, the company reports.

In terms of chassis, it is on a Scania K310 under a Custom CB80 body for delivery to the STA in Sydney. According to the company, the bus is going to be completed at the end of this month and it will be delivered to the STA shortly afterwards.

Announced  recently on a leaked online post, the images show the “100th Bus online at Custom Bus Group.”

A representative explains that, “In just over 12 months of operations at the St Marys facility, Custom Bus Group has begun build of the 100th bus to [be] built there.”

“The Scania K310 Custom CB80 bus will be completed in the coming weeks and will enter service in June.

“Custom Bus Group was formed after the previous operation was purchased by the Dunn Group from administrators in March, 2018. As a result the operation relocated to St Marys and has seen the employment of over 150 staff.”

ON TRACK

According to the company, the bus is going to the STA’s Port Botany depot, under the Region 9 contract.

“We are in the process of designing a special decal to celebrate the bus. This will be finalised in the coming week or so,” the representative stated.
