THE STUNNING MERCEDES-BENZ annual Summer of Concerts in Stuttgart, Germany, draws to a close on 8 July – and the only way to get there in style is on a retro classic MB bus.

Stuttgart's Summer of Concerts attendees will appreciate going back in time in a classic O 3500 bus.

Attracting visitors from across the world, this year they have the option of getting there in a very cool classic O 3500 bus, manufactured in 1950. Passengers will be the envy of their peers as they arrive in the stunning black and red vehicle, preferring not to travel there by car or public transport. According to Daimler event organisers, the bus will be running between museum and Schlossplatz (Schloss Place - Palace Square) from 11.00am to 7.00pm.

The closing ceremony will see the museum putting on numerous, free attractions and offering free admission to the permanent exhibition as part of the big children's and family day this Sunday.

Highlights will include artistic cycling shows, a ‘walking piano’ (O …kay), improvisation theatre and magic shows. Also attending will be Swabian cult cartoon characters ‘Äffle und Pferdle’ and ‘Fritzle’ - the mascot of VfB Stuttgart football team. The cross-brand Cars & Coffee classic car meeting will also be taking place in parallel, featuring local interview guest Ellen Lohr.

"Viola Brand Loves Cycling" – is the title of the amazing, artistic cycling show in the Atrium staged by the artistic cycling world championship runner up.

Driving like adults? Made possible as part of the children's driving school, including theory lessons and practical exercises.

Visitors will also be able to take a tour of the stadium of VfB Stuttgart.

And there’ll be the obligatory football bouncy castle for, "everyone who likes to bounce around."

Plus there’ll be - under the motto ‘30 Years of DTM’ – qualifying for a computer game race, with contestants vying for the last spot in the final of the ‘Museum Special’ international Mercedes-AMG Motorsport eRacing Competition.

The fastest driver of the Museum Special will be invited to the eRacing final at Hockenheimring race track in October.

Rides in classic cars are also on the agenda.
