RETRO BUS TRIP TO DAIMLER MUSEUM CLOSING EVENT

THE STUNNING MERCEDES-BENZ annual Summer of Concerts in Stuttgart, Germany, draws to a close on 8 July – and the only way to get there in style is on a retro classic MB bus.

Attracting visitors from across the world, this year they have the option of getting there in a very cool classic O 3500 bus, manufactured in 1950. Passengers will be the envy of their peers as they arrive in the stunning black and red vehicle, preferring not to travel there by car or public transport. According to Daimler event organisers, the bus will be running between museum and Schlossplatz (Schloss Place – Palace Square) from 11.00am to 7.00pm.

The closing ceremony will see the museum putting on numerous, free attractions and offering free admission to the permanent exhibition as part of the big children’s and family day this Sunday.

Highlights will include artistic cycling shows, a ‘walking piano’ (O …kay), improvisation theatre and magic shows. Also attending will be Swabian cult cartoon characters ‘Äffle und Pferdle’ and ‘Fritzle’ – the mascot of VfB Stuttgart football team. The cross-brand Cars & Coffee classic car meeting will also be taking place in parallel, featuring local interview guest Ellen Lohr.
