BUS DRIVER PUNCHED! Queensland Police are on the lookout for the lady shown in the on-board bus CCTV footage that's going viral on social media, showing a poor driver getting slugged. Can you help?

AS REPORTED ON mypolice.qld.gov.au, Police have released security footage that depicts the assault of a Brisbane bus driver in the week before Christmas.

Around 10.50am on December 19 last year, two women boarded the 320 bus on the corner of Saint Pauls Terrace and Union Street in Spring Hill.

One of the women got into an argument with the bus driver over a fare and punched him in the face.

The pair then got off the bus and were last seen heading north-east towards Fortitude Valley.

Anyone who recognises the women depicted in the video or who may know of their whereabouts is urged to contact police.

Officers work closely with Brisbane City Council to ensure instances of violence against bus drivers are investigated thoroughly.
