Aus Bus & Coach Expo nears

The Australasia Bus & Coach Expo is set to be the industry event of the year with over 100 exhibitors gathering together to showcase the best of their products and services

The event kicks off at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre on Sunday, September 24 with the Volvo Welcome Reception.

The expo will officially open at 9am on Monday, September 25 and run for a full two days, with the Optare Expo Dinner to be held on the Monday night.

The dinner is now sold out, but registrations are still available for the free trade show itself and the welcome reception.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has been invited to open day one of the trade show and Beaconsfield Mine disaster survivor Todd Russell will share his experiences with delegates from 9.30am on day one.

Yutong has a new coach to launch at 10.30am and from then on there’s something for everyone, from discussions on bus communications platforms and fire suppression in the morning to chain of responsibility (CoR); the latest driver assistance technology and the latest in wash bay equipment in the afternoon.

Day two will see touring car champion Dick Johnson address the audience as guest speaker from 9.30am.

Trapeze Group customer success manager Kelly Crookes will explain how to use your existing data to make choices that will help you save money and improve performance in the morning.

Trapeze Group planning and scheduling product specialist Grant Coffee will explain how planning and scheduling technology can help operators overcome the challenges of tendering, calculating costs and finding the smartest ways to utilise your vehicles and drivers — as part of the afternoon sessions on day two.

Entry to the trade show is free, but those wanting to attend must still register their attendance via the QBIC website here.
