2016 Sydney Bus Show approaches

There are less than three weeks left until this year’s Australian Bus & Coach Show

The Bus & Coach Association of New South Wales (BusNSW) is reporting strong registration numbers for the upcoming Australian Bus & Coach Show to be held in Sydney’s Olympic Park on October 5-6.

Although entry to the event will be free, BusNSW executive director Darryl Mellish says registering beforehand makes entry much easier.

“We have made a conscious decision to provide free entry and focus on a stand-alone exhibition,” he says.

“To save time on the day it is best to register online in advance.”

Over 100 exhibitions will be present at the show, as well as over $50 million worth of vehicles and related machinery.

Transport for New South Wales will be using the event to promote its upcoming Bus Safety Week, which will be taking place from the second day of the show until November 12.

Also planned for the show are free demonstrations and product workshops for those who are more technically savvy.

“There has also been strong interest for the Volvo Welcome Function … and the BusNSW 75th Anniversary Gala Dinner,” Mellish says.

“With limited spaces I strongly encourage industry stakeholders wishing to attend these important social events to register now.”

BusNSW says there are still limited exhibitor stalls available, so anyone wishing to set up a display for the event will need to contact the coordinator.
