TripAdvisor award

A Melbourne operator has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence due to great reviews

SkyBus has announced it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, to celebrate hospitality businesses which have earned great traveller reviews.

Certificate of Excellence recipients normally include accommodation, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

SkyBus has unusually managed to deliver these services as a transport provider with passenger perks such as free Wi-Fi, customer support, and a ‘kids travel free’ policy.

Director Michael Sewards says the operation is proud to receive the award, which is a recognition of the great attention they pay to passengers’ journey and the experience delivered by wonderful staff.

“We look forward to continual investment in passenger innovation and experience and maintaining the high expectations now clearly set,” he says.

TripAdvisor vice president of industry marketing Heather Leisman says: “with the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers.”

“TripAdvisor is proud to play this integral role in helping travellers feel more confident in their decisions,” she says.

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period.

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.

This accolade follows SkyBus’ recent announcement of the addition of a new service between Melbourne Airport and tourism hotspot St Kilda.
