ABC magazine takes a look back at the year that was with a 12-part online special

Like fine wine, some things just get better with time.

And while the bus industry can surely appreciate a fine wine (or two), there have been times throughout there year when it was important to get down to business.

It was a year of achievements for industry and now it’s time to take a look back at the year of 2015.

Singapore’s praises

Industry was given insight into one of the most successful public transport systems in the world with the BIC 2015 National Conference.

The four day conference was held in Singapore, at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel, with a theme of ‘moving people – connecting neighbourhoods,’ and attracted about 450 delegates in total.

Key to communication

Dr Barb West was one of the key speakers at the BusVic Women on Board Seminar Series and Luncheon, who explained the importance of communication.

She is one of the four speakers at the annual event which has been running for the last decade.

The event is an important one on the calendar to bring Victorian women together to celebrate the important role women play in a male dominated industry.
