Transdev Queensland sets the standard for bus operators by earning a rare accreditation
Transdev Queensland is now a Certified Customer Service Organisation (CSIA) accredited organisation and became the first bus operator in Queensland to achieve the standard recently.
The organisation runs TransLink bus services, operates public and school bus runs throughout the Redlands and northern Gold Coast corridor, and is one of just a few transport companies nationally to earn the accreditation.
Transdev Queensland managing director Colin Jennings is proud of the achievement.
“These standards are not just plaques for the wall, they guide how we operate on a day-to-day basis,” he says.
“I know they have been critical in Transdev becoming a major bus operator for TransLink and the operator of Brisbane Ferries for Brisbane City Council.”
The bus charter side of the business, Jennings says, also benefits from the standards the organisation has in place for its major contracts.
“Transdev Queensland is demonstrating its exceptional commitment to quality and best practice, not only through the CSIA accreditation, but also by being triple-accredited in quality, safety and environment by the International Organisation of Standards.”
CSIA audits accredited organisations yearly, ensuring they maintain a high standard of service.
Some huge and well-respected organisations including Nokia, Telstra, AMP, Virgin, Westfield, ANZ Bank and Woolworths are also CSIA accredited.
