A bus driver has allegedly had his face spray-painted
before being
robbed in New South Wales.

NSW police allege the robbery occurred at Northmead in Sydney’s west yesterday.

Police say a young male demanded the driver’s cash box
while exiting the bus with another young male.

According to police, the youth sprayed
the driver’s
face and arms using a can of silver spray paint when the driver failed to comply with the demand.

Police say the youth repeated his demand for cash and the driver complied.

Both males reportedly left the scene on foot.

Police say
the two male youths had boarded the bus on Darcy Road, Westmead.

Police from Parramatta Local Area Command are investigating the robbery.

Police
have interviewed other bus passengers, and arranged for the vehicle to be forensically examined.
