NSW group lobbies PTV timetable change

A NSW public transport group has lobbied PTV to include Bermagui as a stop for the Sapphire Coast Link

November 8, 2012

A New South Wales public transport
group has successfully lobbied Public Transport Victoria (PTV) to include Bermagui as a
stop for the Sapphire Coast Link service.

PTV currently runs its V/Line Sapphire Coast Link from Melbourne, Victoria to Batemans Bay, New South Wales.

After
drawn-out lobbying by the Bermagui Pubic Transport Action Group (BPTAG), PTV will soon include Bermagui as a stop listed in its new timetable for the Sapphire Coast Link.

The first bus will reportedly stop at Bermagui on November 18.

The service is planned to stop at Bermagui four times a week.

Bermagui is on the south coast of New South Wales, in the Bega Valley Shire.
