The Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics is calling on the industry to nominate for its 2011 awards

"Recognition of excellence is integral to the Australian transport and logistics industry," says Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport Australia (CILTA) CEO Hal Morris.

"CILTA is proud to acknowledge and reward the leaders in our industry through our national awards process.

"I invite all T&L companies and individuals who have done something special to nominate for this year’s National Industry Excellence Awards.

"Participation will benefit individuals, their colleagues, the organisation and most importantly our industry," Morris says.

CILTA is Australia’s leading professional association representing individuals and corporations in the transport and logistics industry covering passenger and freight movement as well as Australia’s logistics supply chains.

The 2011 National T&L Industry Excellence Awards recognise exceptional achievement in the following categories:

  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Professional of the Year
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Young Professional of the Year (up to 35yrs old)
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Safety
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Technology
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Environmental Sustainability
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Award for Community Service
  • National T&L Industry Excellence Awards for Customer Service (3 size categories)

Awards criteria and nomination forms are now available at the CILTA website.

Deadline for entries is 30 September, 2011.

The 2011 National T&L Industry Excellence Awards Dinner and Presentation will be hosted by CILTA on 21 October, 2011 at the Melbourne Aquarium.
