It might appear to be over the horizon but gauging its success in 2009, next year’s Australian Bus and Coach Show, organized by BusNSW, will be a highly anticipated event

Just under 12 months away, but highly anticipated, BusNSW has started planning the 2011 Bus and Coach Show, backing up for a repeat performance from its success in 2009.
Again to be held at Sydney’s Rosehill Gardens racecourse, BusNSW Executive Director Darryl Mellish and his team are planning a bigger event this time around.
“We look forward to hosting this premier event for the Australian bus and coach industry at a time when public transport is a high priority for State and Federal Governments,” Mellish says.
He says the inaugural Australian Bus and Coach Show in October, 2009 was a great success.
“The show was attended by Australian and international bus and coach operators and their employees, government representatives, equipment and service suppliers, tourism and hospitality providers, and bus enthusiasts,” says Mellish.
“The exhibition planned for October 2011 promises to be bigger and better, and provides an opportunity for the industry to showcase the latest products, services and technology available.”
Mellish says the 2011 show will see up to 100 vehicles on display and over 100 booths exhibiting a wide range of products and services.
“Rosehill Gardens is a one stop shop for our exhibition and conference with numerous indoor and outdoor options over a vast array of space,” he says.
The venue has 30,000 square metres of exhibition space, which includes 20,000 square metres of indoor space, telecommunications services, car parking for up to 5,000 vehicles, easy vehicle access and is centrally located.
“BusNSW will keep operators and industry participants informed with promotions and regular updates in the lead up to this important event,” Mellish says.
The second Australian Bus and Coach Show at Rosehill Gardens in Sydney will run on 5-6 October, 2011.
