Rapid KL, a company belonging to Prasarana Group that provides the city transport service in Kuala Lumpur, has ordered 150 Hispacold HVAC air-conditioning units.
This follows the
success of the units over several years in Singapore.
The Malay capital has an equatorial climate, hot and sunny, without seasons and with constant temperatures all over the year, with maximum values of near 35ºC.
The high density of population at Kuala Lumpur’s metropolitan area makes city transport an undeniable must that requires also high-quality standards.
Buses bodyworks will be manufactured by Deftech, a renowned supplier of industrial, commercial, defence and security vehicles for Malay Armed Forces as well as other government departments.
In order to serve this order, Deftech will count on
partner MAN Truck&Bus (MTBM). These vehicles structure will be made in aluminium and will be provided by Gemilang.
With this new order, Hispacold extends its
South-East Asian presence to Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
