Greyhound extends Darwin opening hours

Greyhound Australia will extend the opening hours of its Darwin terminal, thanks to a thriving tourism industry and increased demand

Greyhound Australia will extend the opening hours of its Darwin terminal, thanks to a thriving tourism industry and increased demand for services.

The terminal will now open for four hours on Saturdays and operating hours have been extended from 9am to 5pm on weekdays.

An extra staff member has also been employed to help serve growing customer queues.

Chief Executive Officer Robert Thomas says Darwin has long been a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists.

“The packages have proven popular since launching a year ago and offer adventure seekers the opportunity to exchange kilometres for memorable experiences such as a three day Uluru tour or an adventure in Kakadu,” he says.

“Now Darwin tourists can plan and purchase action-filled travel offers for their whole Australian trip in a one-stop shop at the terminal.”

Greyhound Australia is now the only national coach company operating in Australia after the acquirement of other competing coach brands such as McCafferty’s, Pioneer and Bus Australia.
