The Sita Group will buy out Moonee Ponds-based Kastoria Bus Lines, a spokesman for Sita confirmed today.
Settlement of the sale is scheduled for August 1, 2009.
Kastoria Bus Lines currently operates the Moonee Ponds-Niddrie, the Moonee Ponds-Hillside and the Moonee Ponds-East Keilor services.
Sita currently operates 13 route bus services providing public transport to the CBD and western suburbs, servicing east Melbourne, north Melbourne, Moonee Ponds, Footscray, Yarraville, Newport, Williamstown, Altona North, Sunshine, Deer Park, Caroline Springs and Melton.
