Ogden’s Coaches is using its scheduled fleet replacement program to try out a number of different vehicles for service in its 80-strong bus fleet.

The company will take delivery of seven buses this month; three from Hino, two from Iveco and two from Dennings. All are Euro 4 compliant.

Owner operator Edmond Charles Ogden says he is interested in comparing the performance of the different body manufacturers and vehicle specifications.

The purchases were part of the company’s bus replacement program. Ogden says he wouldn’t look at buying more vehicles until June-July 2010.

All seven vehicles will enter service within a month, he says.

The family business, which has depots in Mudgee, Wellington and Dubbo, is owned and operated by Edmond and Faye Ogden with daughter Mandi Toynton and sons Tony and Peter Ogden.
