BusVic’s 55th Maintenance Conference band Bus Expo will feature leading operators and experts tackling the key issues facing industry.

To be held on June 29-30 at Moonee Valley Racing Club in Melbourne, this year’s event will include sessions covering key subjects including:

  • Accreditation management and maintenance systems
  • New technology – including hybrid buses and fuels
  • Award modernisation
  • Fatigue management
  • Waste management
  • Best-practice cost control
  • Diagnostics, multiplexing and intermittent faults.

These sessions will be supported by practical workshops from key suppliers such as Scania, Volgren, Volvo, Mobitec, Iveco, BCI and Mercedes-Benz – and the return of ‘The Great Debate’ tackling hot topics such as whether buses are an investment or an expense; and whether climate change is ‘just a glitch’.

And on the lighter side attendees will be entertained by keynote speakers Sam Kekovich and Andrew Gaze; and comedian Dave Hughes and Wilbur Wilde and Frankie J Holden Band at the Victorian Industry Awards Gala Dinner on Monday, June 29.
